The original number 7, George Best, is one of United’s most iconic players. Living a lavish playboy lifestyle of sports cars & smart suits, this latest collection from adidas draws design inspirations from the European Cup winning season of 1967/68, when Best was simply at his best. Featuring a long-sleeve football jersey and matching tracksuit in United’s 3rd kit colourway of blue which they wore against Benfica in the European Cup final in 1968. Other highlights include the iconic number 7 badge, classic trefoil branding & one of United’s old badges which gives a nod to Manchester’s industrial heritage and it’s now out of commission shipping canal. There’s also ‘George Best’ embroidered to the left cuff and classic 3 stripes. Also included in the collection is a pair of Gazelle’s which feature the world famous ‘devil’ logo to the heel.
