The Arsenal x Aries collection drops for October 2024 featuring the likes of Declan Rice & Bukayo Saka for a 26 piece range of Gooners goodies.
This latest Arsenal x Aries collection isn’t the first time football has flirted with streetwear. There was PSG with BAPE back in 2018 which probably really kicked things off. There’s also Man Citeh’s recent partnership with C.P. Company although that might swiftly change to some bargain basement brand when the 115 charges kick in, sorry I’m a United fan! Stone Island have been doing bits with New Balance and Palace Skateboards previously had a pop with Juventus. The latest football x streetwear partnership sees the celebrated North London club, the Gooners, join forces with Sofia Prantera and Fergus Purcell’s luxury streetwear label, Aries, which also stems from the “Big Smoke”.
Featuring a 26 piece collection of staple streetwear styles such as tracksuits, graphic tees, football shirts as well as staind glass print matching sets, the collection looks to Arsenal’s nostalgia, history and fanbase. The collection gives a nod to ‘1886’ throughout, the founding year of the North London club with street-ready windbreakers, wool bomber jackets, oxford shirts & long sleeve tees. There’s also a range of North London geezer-esque accessories from sovvies (that’s rings for those of you that don’t talk street) & pendant chains. The collection also features the likes of Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Alessia Russo, Bukayo Saka and Beth Mead. You know Arsene Wenger is going to be rocking this drop for his retirement years!
This collection looks incredible. It’s another exciting moment that brings the Arsenal family together and brings our supporters closer to our heritage. I’m passionate about fashion and after walking in London Fashion Week, it feels great to be involved in this collaboration. I loved being part of the shoot with our supporters and Arsenal teammates, it felt like a real family moment.
