Corteiz & Nike Are Back At It With The Air Trainer Huarache ‘Flat Pewter’

The Corteiz x Nike Air Trainer Huarache in ‘Flat Pewter’ drops for November 2024 as part of the London streetwear brand’s latest collaboration with the Swoosh label.

Following on the back of the highly sought after Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 trainer which dropped in 2023, the London born streetwear brand are back at it with the Swoosh label for November 2024. This time around it’s the Air Trainer Huarache trainer that gets a dose of the Clint419 treatment alongside a noughties inspired full tracksuit & football shirt. We can now unveil the Corteiz x Nike Air Trainer Huarache in ‘Flat Pewter’ which is guaranteed to sell out pretty quick!

Originally designed by the legendary Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, the Air Huarache was first introduced in 1991 with it’s famous marketing tag-line “Have You Hugged Your Foot Today?”. With its sock like uppers, Phylon midsole & Nike’s innovative Air technology the Huarache was like nothing else around at the time. The 90s saw various versions of the Air Huarache such as the Air Huarache Basketball, the Huarache Plus and the Air Trainer Huarache from 1994. The latter featured a multi-strap construction and more of a “mid” style design when compared to the original “low” version of the 1991 silhouette.

Featuring the original Air Trainer Huarache from 1994, the Corteiz version features grey neoprene uppers with the famous multi-strap construction of the 90s Air silhouette. Corteiz branding appears to the straps & toe box with the classic Huarache logo to the tongue and ‘Nike RTW’ to the heel. Also included in the drop is a noughties style full swoosh tracksuit as well as a Corteiz football shirt which features the number 9 to the rear.
