REPRESENT Sells Minority Stake To Investment Firm True

REPRESENT have sold a minority stake of their business to the consumer & retail investment firm, True, to scale its operations and fuel the launch of their womenswear line for 2025.

Started by two brothers from Bolton, George & Mike Heaton, REPRESENT started from humble beginnings in Horwich back in 2011 printing graphic tees in their parents garage to getting stocked in luxury retail stalwarts like Selfridges. Previously named as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the UK by the Sunday Times, REPRESENT has been worn by everyone from Justin Bieber to Kim Kardashian. With an increase of sales of around 80% over the past 3 years, REPRESENT with its world renowned ‘Owners Club’ branding has become a staple streetwear style. The brand recently also diversified into the luxury sneaker market, adding runners, mules & OG basketball silhouettes to their product offerings. Following the opening of their latest physical store in Manchester, REPRESENT have now confirmed they have sold a minority stake of the business to the investment firm True.

The strategic partnership between REPRESENT & True will help the luxury streetwear brand fuel its ongoing growth plan with an expansion of the brand across the UK & the USA. For 2024, REPRESENT is forecast to generate £100 million for its total revenue. The investment from True will allow REPRESENT to scale its operations and accelerate growth across multiple categories as well as the launch of REPRESENT womenswear in 2025.
