Following the news that StockX would be partnering with Wallmart to sell resale sneakers, the Detroit born sneaker platform has now announced in a official statement that they have hired a new CMO, or chief marketing officer if you’re not familiar with the corporate lingo. Nick Karrat will join the ranks of the sneaker resale heavyweight, tasked with overseeing brand marketing, integrated marketing, performance marketing, creative and product marketing across the globe to drive StockX’s consumer-facing strategy. Kararat will officially start at the company on October 21st 2024 and will report directly to StockX co-founder and CEO, Greg Schwartz. Speaking on the Nick Karrat move to StockX Schwartz said; “Nick’s experience leading high-performing marketing teams in the e-commerce landscape makes him a valuable asset to our business.
