A big move from the Detroit based sneaker resale platform, StockX, came the other day with the news of their updated returns policy. Previously StockX would not accept refunds for sneakers, or apparel, that didn’t fit but would review cases where items were damaged including packaging and boxes. StockX recently announced they would now be accepting returns with 14 days. Eligible items can be returned for StockX credit, minus the original shipping costs. The goods news for sellers on the sneaker resale platform is that they won’t be affected by the new returns policy. Sellers won’t need to handle product or have their selling status affected. Returned items will still need to be verified by StockX to confirm the item(s) are not damaged & still have the original ‘Verified by StockX’ tags attached.
