With a name sounding like a meeting between conflicting Nike & adidas supporters in congress, Sneaker Politics currently has stores in 6 locations in the US which includes Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Austin, Dallas & Louisiana. We can now unveil the sneaker retailers’ new store in Lafayette, Louisiana. Located in The Forum. Lafayette the new store marks the next chapter of growth for the “political” sneaker store.
Capturing their ethos of creating a family-like atmosphere, as well as working with local & global companies on various community projects, Sneaker Politics was born as a sneaker boutique in Lafayette back in 2006. With various retail headwinds affecting key sneaker brands such as Nike, Trump’s proposed tariff plans & global uncertainty, Sneaker Politics has weathered the storm seeing continued growth across its various US stores & e-commerce channels. The new store in the Louisiana city is located at 4533 Johnston St. & features two floors of the very latest sneaker & apparel releases from the retailers curated selection of brands. Highlights include an acoustical cloud ceiling with the integration of linear LED lighting for a unique visual & auditory experience.
